Practice Transition Seminar
8:00am - 5:00pm
CE credit hours: 8.0
Tickets to this event are $125.

There are two major aspects of an orthodontic practice transition. Just as important is the psychological aspect of the relationships involved in the transition.

Dr. Tom Ziegler is an orthodontist/attorney who has years of experience in the business aspects of practice transitions. Dr. Marc Cooper is a management and leadership coach and consultant who specializes in the relationship side of practice transitions. They both contributed to the book Secrets of Partnership Success and will lead this daylong seminar.

The seminar will be divided into two sessions. The first session will cover appraisal methods, contents of associate employment agreements and various types of transition plans. The second session will focus on how orthodontists can find a partner that melds with their personality and treatment techniques, thereby establishing some of the conditions that are essential for success. Communication models and other processes that help decrease problems and breakdowns within the transition process will also be discussed.
